I was thoroughly impressed with the demo so decided to get into the real thing

Thing is, when I look for a multiplayer game all I get listed is 4 servers all of which have 0 people on?!
Is there somewhere else I should be looking to find people to race against?

I assume you have the latest patch (patch U)? If not, get that one.
Do you have any car filters applied? (on the right in the serverlist)
Or any server filters? (at the bottom in the serverlist)

I was running version Q which I installed ages ago! :doh:

Just FYI, your old setups from patch Q may not work so well with patch U. The physics have changed a little bit. Your times also may not be comparable.

Yep, the tyres are the most different to me, much more grippy at lower speeds.
