Actress Carrie Fisher suffered a "cardiac episode" on Friday Dec 23rd during an airline flight from London to Los Angeles and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after landing, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing emergency officials.

United Airlines issued a statement saying that Flight 935 from London to Los Angeles was met on the ground by medical personnel after the crew reported that a passenger was "unresponsive."

Lets all hope for the best.

Well she died at such a young age, from a heart attack and already had heart problems. It's pretty obvious here drug usage from her early days finally caught up with her.

Legendary actress Debbie Reynolds (84) has died, just a day after her famous daughter Carrie Fisher passed away. The loss of Carrie was just to much to bear.

Two great stars that shine now in the Heavens rather than the silver screen.

As she herself said, she was bipolar, had abused cocaine and lsd when she was younger, but probably the real damage was caused by the legal drugs the Dr's put you on to 'fix' bipolar.

Still So sad and whats even sadder is the fact that her mother died a day after her passing.. I'm looking for some of the older star wars movies in which she was starring. Does anyone have a clue where I can buy them for my collection. (im from Netherlands)

Exactly, the multitude of drugs her body had to go through over the years must've been insane.

Her mother dying 1 day later makes it even more sad (and an extreme coincidence), my thoughts go out to their family
