Car building games
I have a question for you all: Do you know any good games where you can take a car apart and build it up again like Monster Garage or the Street Legal games(<only for building)
Plz anwser
Lego Creator

.... lol actually i tried installing that game just a while ago, and it wouldn't run on XP

you could build any lego object and fly it or drive it or blow it up, that was a fun game

I am looking for something with "real" cars but if I get Win98 I'll try
Thanking you
lol it was somewhat sarcastic but.. yea i dont know of any others than what you said

there was another game from way back when there was some drag game that you could do that stuff

also.. not sure, i think R-Concept X is something like that, but.. i dont think there has been any update with that thing in a very .. very long time
There's a game called Gearhead Garage. It's very simplistic, though. I'm sure you can find a demo for it.
Street Legal is all I can think of

Fun concept, crappy physics

Thanks for all your help
You'd like Street Legal probably. It is a bit on the tuner side, but it is still fun. But like 96 said, it has crappy physics. Still fun, and you can take your creation out for a spin on public streets with traffic. Pretty big maps too
Sounds fun. Now I wish there was a track management game.
for tracks you have

crashday, all the trackmanias

all the tony hawk skate boarding games
i dont know of any others (but once again you can make a track on LEGO Creator (its almost turning out to be the perfect game now lol)

LOL

I was actually thinking more professionally, sell tv rights, upgrade the track so that more series can drive on the track.
Got the full game now, very fun game
omg street legal redline is so much fun to just take a car to scratch and whatnot, especially when you know how to get more money that game.. is seriously, the concept of it is absolutely astonishing, and i hope someone makes a better game, because .. the graphics are absolutely horrid in that game, and poly overlapping doesn't exist so you have to have an extremely amazing graphics card to run that game well

i suggest messing around with street legal redline though, its tons of fun

edit- ahh thankyou lurendrejer, thats the game i couldn't remember where you could take cars apart like that though

but SLR is way more fun than it
and many times better graphically

like.. with SLR you can take your engine down to its camshafts, intakes, crankcases, oil drip pans... cylinder heads, its absolutely amazing

it will easily help someone understand how an engine work, thats for sure
I started playing SL:R yesterday and but why the crappy looks of the cars?? Streetrod's ok too but the SR 1 and 2 are like:Kick_Can_ .
One thing pissies me off in SL:R you can install engine parts after you have placed another part on the car that should be taken off before you can install the real partillepall illepall <-If confusing then Example: You can install the crankshaft after you have put the engine together
EDIT: Thx for patch
im sure thats somewhat a feature so you dont put a whole engine together and then say.. oh snap i forgot to put blah blah blah in it, and its one of the first things so you have to take apart the whole thing

what i hate the most about it is tires.. how on earth are you supposed to figure out the tire sizes that fit the wheels??? all the tires have are like ex: 15.1 or something like that.. and so you have no idea what tire fits it
Have you ever bought a tyre for a car if you have then it's easy if not bummer I asked my dad to help in that and now it's easy as hell so ask a older relative to help

The devs wanted so much from the game, but EA got all arsey and with their big pockets put the cabash on the game. Never got finished. But turning the Golf into a v8 dragster, much fun

Link. Much fun, more so if you use manual gears and clutch, trying to catch the clutch after a spin so you don't stall is fun
you will be able to build your own car from the ground up in driver's republic

oh sucks no slots left open .
right now all the testing is really doing is tightening up the netcode so you arent missing much. ffb and physics seem very solid already but still lots of features have yet to be put in
