Poll : Breaking Points | How do you break?

I break using Sigs, markings and curbs around me
120
I break from feeling and judgement of the turn and/or apex

danny...wtf..*slap* stop posting crap.
For me its a bit of both.

Also on new tracks i havent raced on its fun to try and guess the breaking point. Especily if you have no idea how narrow / tight the corner is.
I'd say it depends of the track mostly and then on the turn. On Blackwood with FOX for example, I brake somewhere between 75 and 50 at 1st turn and somewhere between start of curb and 50 at end of the back straight. For the rest of the track I go by feel. Like I couldn't tell you where I lift off for the esses and where I brake for the turn after 2nd split.
Same applies for tracks like Kyoto or Westhill where I find the markers are too far off the track, so I don't bother looking at all and just brake when I think applies. I'd say after 3 to 5 laps I'm good to get it pretty much the same each lap.
On some tracks and turns I use some brake points that are not actual braking markers. A change in the color of tarmac or a spot in grass or a wall, sometimes a curb if it's well placed, but somehow I'd say I tend to use the curbs more as "lift off points" rather than braking points.

Danny, WTF is it with you and your urinary fascination?

On second thoughts don't answer that.

Oh, and while I'm here complaining, could the OP and some others please learn to spell "braking"? If it was an obscure word I'd understand and wouldn't call you on it, but to be a fan of a driving sim like LFS and not know how to spell the name of one of the pedals seems... odd to me.

The name of the pedal could be interpreted differently in different situations...
I call it my break pedal when I ram someone from behind because the bloody thing broke again.

lol awesome stuff guys!!

Like i said, i basicly do both but i use signs etc little more so i put my poll on that option . Keep it going hehe.
i try and pick reference points. but after you get in to a rythm you dont have to work so hard to find braking points
I do a mix of both, but the majority of the time I just use my judgement.
C'mon, if you want to drive 15 laps at maximum, you have to use markers near the track
