LFS in VR is awesome too, only racing sim with proper VR rear/side mirror rendering... such an awesome sim

never regretted buying this game for one second, from playing on single monitor, even laptop, to 3 screens and wheel to VR setup with cockpit, this game has such range; F1 racing leaves you tired and shaken after a few laps, so intense!

Great game but updates are so infrequent and we don't have a map editor

I've played on multiple accounts since 2006 with my dad, and since I am older and more independent, I know how to buy a license and create an account.

I am currently testing the Trinus Vr software and not a single racing sim can currently compete with LFS. I am certainly a fanboy but I can not stop drive LFS since a week. I would never have thought (never) how awesome LFS with an external software and a normal smartphone would feel. Anyone who has a FullHD and higher Smartphone and a Geforce card should look at the combination of LFS & TrinusVRSoftware(usb) & Moonlight Software & TrackIr. The sheer madness!

(yes, the resolution is not so good with an FullHD Smartphone, but the combination runs very smooth with 50-60 frames and are a realy good test for Vr) I never go back to a normal screen in LFS. Not even with 8k TV

Why I still play LFS?

It's plug and play, you're on track within 30 seconds, no BS.

The other sims don't cut it for me, they all do the talk, but having to miss on some of the features LFS had 10+ years ago just feels annoying.

Not having to sit on loading screens for 2 minutes. Not having to worry about having the right DLC. Not having to run Steam-like software that keeps nagging for an update or a purshase. Not having to wonder whether the latest update ruined the physics(I know, I know...). Not having to worry about disk space. etc.

After you play games for countless years I think you sort of lose patience and look for a "quick fix". LFS is that quick fix.

And top of that, LFS is fun!

I have some reasons to play LFS like you guys,just adding little more
LFS to me is a "realtime sim" you can do many things when you play,LFS options,via chat (lfsworld information,etc..etc..),engine sound(working in real time) can sounds really nice if you edit ,everything .Is a solid game and feels more like a real car with all unreal things he have,than other sims to me.
Thats why i still play Live For Speed.
