SIDENOTE: If previous race was 1st LX4's visit to Westhill,this will be 1st FXR's visit to Blackwood in RTFR history - only time any of FX cars visited Blackwood was 2nd RTFR XL where FXO was raced in the classic GP Track. This will be also the first try in reversed direction of a known custom course. Due to very wide turn 1 entry,there are blue markings on ground to help racers orientate better - these markings have no other function.

After 3 races on original tracks it was time to try something different and use custom one - Container Sprint is a layout well known for some,with a variation it has been used in other event too,but yesterday there was a new variation - reversed direction. Shortly tested the different direction proved itself as drivable and due to track width - a GTR car deemed to be suited. Unfortunatelly none of the recently finished AWS season FXR master top3 arrived to prove their awarded mastership.

The 2020 standings dominating leader Fast was dominating this race too - having scored double the points as closest rival after 5 rounds,Fast increased his lead and scored 2nd win this year with gap of 32 seconds over runner up and that is 14th biggest margin of victory in RTFR history. Fast scored his 9th overall win and for the first time - 2 in row,he is now the 13th driver in RTFR history,who has a streak of 2 or more wins. Fast added also 12th pole position,12th fastest lap of the race and 17th top5 finish to his achievements. Current rating leader and RTFR 2-time winner in races with FXR Merenui finished 2nd,he increases his top5 count to 38. After bigger break Altsu has returned to finishing races in RTFR - he finished 3rd which is his 13th top5 finish,Michal repeated his best finishing performance 4th,6th top5 finish for him,2nd in row. J.A.Katila closed up top5 and scored his 23rd top5 finish.

In 2 weeks the normal RTFR will return with one of the street cars,as always more details in the weekend before it. But already next tuesday the RTFR action will continue with 39th RTFR XL - the XFR will raced in the 8 kilometers long Aston Grand Touring configuration. Meanwhile the test of the 12km Westschleife layout is still active in our 2nd server named Race Green Events - everyone is welcome to test it and share their improvement suggestions during this week!
