Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

The king of all chicane tracks - Fern Bay Green - was used in the 42nd RTFR XL. The 60 lap race meant 180 chicanes while another 2 sections looks like a chicane placed instead of a left hand sweeper-turn. Racers tackled all these chicanes with LX4 - very light and nimble car,but also very sensitive to abrupt direction changes,which meant losing focus on any of the faster chicanes will result in smaller or bigger trouble.

Probably the community's biggest LX4 fan joined this event for the first time since his win in the december of 2018 - Lacko could not find the pace in qualifying to take the pole position,but in lap 8 he used polesitter's mistake and slipped into race lead,which he gave up temporary during the pitting phase,but regained it and led the remaining 17 laps on the way to his 2nd RTFR XL race win,setting fastest lap of the race,which is his 3rd,while he scored also his 4th top5 finish. Dzidoris' break from this event was even longer,but also his last finish here was a race win - in 9th RTFR XL (with LX4). He scored his 1st ever pole position,but lacked the pace to convert it into 2nd racewin - 2nd place finish despite the penalty,3rd top5 finish for him. Patrik joined this version of RTFR for the 1st time,but made a lot out of his debuth - 3rd place finish,could have been 2nd,but also he earned a penalty for the same infraction as his rival ahead. Rony finished 4th and rounded up his top5 count to 20,Jarmolo repeated his best result for the 2nd time with 5th place finish.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
LX4 was the car which was picked as first for it's 2nd race - it was used in 3rd and 9th RTFR XL. XFG is the only other car selected twice in same calendar year.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Things that never change - T.Soini has once again the shortest legal work free pitstop,this time 10.06 seconds long.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Starting last and being fast is safest way to get mentioned in this section - this time it was Jarmolo,who started from back of the grid and finished 5th. Good grid position and same race pace might have resulted in better position though.


Next RTFR XL in almost 4 weeks will be the 2nd appearance of both XRT and Blackwood Historic Reversed,but for the first time - the combination of these two,it will be a 55 lap race. But already next week the normal RTFR will feature racing with other street legal car,more details in sunday.
