The fastest car available in our racing simulator was featured in this race - the BF1 was raced on Kyoto's GP Long track including the altered chicane. The race turned out to be a strategy race as it was impossible to complete the race with 2 full fuel loads,so everyone had the chance to variate with pitstop strategies. Sadly a total of 4 drivers could not transfer fair racing by keeping the car inside track limits to their pit entry - just warnings were given out this time as this was the 1st issue at this track,next time drivers might win some extra time to their finishing result.
Team S1dus was the one to beat here as all 3 drivers took first 3 positions and spent most of the race there,best of them was Gábor,who scored his 2nd pole position in qualifying and despite not leading early part of the race,led last 15 laps to score his 1st RTFR XL race win,taking also his 2nd fastest lap of the race on the way. It was also 5th top5 finish for the hungarian. After winning 5 races in row he attended,Botsi had to settle for 2nd place finish yesterday,but he also clocked the 3rd closest finish in RTFR XL history,14th top5 finish for him in total. Altsu led 2nd most laps yesterday,but finished only 3rd,which is 6th top5 finish for the driver returning to RTFR XL after 20 events break. Remaining top5 positions were taken by Unite (4th position and 5th top5 finish) and Rony (5th position and 21st top5 finish.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
As expected this was the fastest ever RTFR XL race with average speed of 243.2km/h and it beats the previous best (also run with BF1 at Kyoto,just different configuration) by 12.5km/h.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Drivers needed to refuel at least twice to finish the distance,T.Soini had once again the shortest legal pitstops time of 11.65 seconds. He was one of 6 drivers finishing with same set of tyres they started with.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Starting from a lower position gives more chances to appear here - Jereloco started 15th and advanced 6 positions to finish 9th in this race.
* HONORABLE MENTION :
As always being fast is not enough,you need to keep a good pace through whole race distance - Michal set the 4th best laptime in qualifying and 5th best during race,but finished only in 7th position,on the tale end of the lead lap.
In 4 weeks the penultimate RTFR XL of this year is scheduled,combo is still to be decided - winner of this race has time until next tuesday to reply to PM. But already next week normal RTFR will return,more details will be posted sunday. But in sunday RGE offers racing with the other V8 engined single seater car of LFS - VERL will hold it's 3rd round of the season at Aston,more details in
