Weird Mic/Headphones combo Headset prob
I bought a Logitech headset for gaming a while back, and for some weird reason, while playing a Voice Clip in MSN, or in a Voice Chat on MSN or AIM, I could have my Headset plugged into the mic and sound jack, and I could play music through the headset, but the other person could hear it clear as day!...but then a couple days ago, while in a voice chat with my freind, it suddenly stopped working, and I have no idea how to fix it illepall...does anyone have any clues as to what I can do?

thanks in advance!
wait... what stopped working

it .. the music.. it.. your voice.. it.. the microphone.. or it.. the whole headset completely

Best guess:
Double-click on the speaker icon in your system tray, click Options > Properties.

You should have Playback and Recording radio buttons. Click on Recording.

In "show the following volume controls", make sure that Stereo Mix and Microphone are ticked. You can leave the others ticked too, but those two are the more important. Click Okay.

Now you should have the Recording Control window up. Ticking the Microphone box should enable the microphone only, whereas ticking the Stereo Mix should pipe everything YOU hear.. music, microphone, audio from videos etc.. straight through to whoever you're talking to.
