Hey, since i updated i noticed the cars can stall if left in gear and gears can't be changed with out clutch etc. Can this be turned off?

I suppose you have the Auto clutch option turned off (Options - Driver: at the bottom, see attachment). Turn it on, and the sim will do the clutch-work for you, completely.

keithwaelchi: what do you mean "turned off"? LFS is trying to be as real as possible, and that's what cars do, if you don't use clutch.
(any way, what MandulAA wrote, use auto-clutch if you don't have 3-pedal controller or you don't want to be bothered to learn to use clutch)

user settings shouldn't change between updates
