Yes, there are also very fast electric vehicles on the market (or coming to market) like for instance the RIMAC C2 which also has a two speed transmission to accieve the top speed of over 400km/h.
Some of the newer models like the Audi E-Tron GT (which is Audis take on the Porsche Taycan platform) also has a two-speed transmission, but it uses the first gear only in dynamic mode or when using the launch control. In efficiency mode it uses only the second gear all the time.
So transimissions in electric cars are used, but as of now mostly in performance oriented vehicles.
I think that we will also see other electric vehicles with transmissions in the future, like offroad vehicles or heavy machinery that will need more torque instead of top speed.
