After 4 fully filled grids in row,this edition of RTFR was less popular with "just" 36 cars facing the starting lights and challenge that will follow the green signal. A modified version of standard Rockingham Historic was offered yesterday,which featured passing the 1st chicane,a slow chicane instead of dangerous 2nd chicane and a very difficult slow section as an alternate way towards Gracelands curve. And that in combination with a car with 190 horsepowers routed to rear wheels and barely any weight on them - this challenge turned out to be difficult enough,so everyone ready for it was able to take it.

Under absence of rating and yearly standings leader,race still went towards same team - Unite was the only one to beat 1:39 laptime mark in qualifying and,despite falling down the order early in race,he still regained the lead with 4 laps to go to celebrate his 8th RTFR racewin - he is the 6th driver in RTFR history to reach that many wins. Unite also scored his 5th pole position and 14th fastest lap of the race (all time 2nd most),adding also 35th top5 finish to his stats. Despite leading the majority of the race,Upsas had to concede the charging polesitter and finish 2nd,which is his new best finishing result in normal RTFR,2nd top5 finish - he also clocked the 10th closest finish in RTFR history with 0.30s gap to racewinner. Mandula finished 3rd with some gap to leading duo and scored his 19th top5 finish,closely followed by event debutant Magadan in 4th position. Another event debutant Antonio closed up the top5.

Since RTFR XL will be just in 3 weeks,next week is free from RTFR action. Sort of - the combo for next RTFR XL has been selected using custom configuration (allthough just bypassing one chicane),so there will be an official testing phase to find out best possible laptimes for better race distance calculation. Server will be set up shorty and testing session will announced in our discord channel. But 2 weeks after yesterday's race RTFR action will return with some slick tyre racing - more info in the weekend before it or if watching the broadcast recording carefully enough!
