Today i was browsing wiki for random stuff and found a person with familiar name. Curiosity got the better of me, so i want to ask Scawen, if this person is a member of the family? There are some similar facial features for sure!

Yes, that is my grandfather.

I knew him when I was young. He lived in Devon while my family lived in Hong Kong, Fiji and then Singapore so I only saw him in a holiday around once a year. Then he died when we were in Singapore, when I was eight.

I am proud of his submarine story and his VC. I hear he didn't really like the award because he wasn't keen on the attention.
