Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

This was a much trickier combo to race and that affected attendance - after 3 races in row with practically full grid,this time attendance dropped a bit below 30. Still 27 actual competitors is way over event's all time average,so we had a plenty of racing again,some had battles with rivals,some with car and some with track.
The combo selector did not join the track,but was sitting comfy in the virtual commentary booth,so the winning of the race was left to others - and that was not just some "best of the rest guy",as R.Kardol scored already his 3rd racewin of the year and 5th overall. It was not also a simple run away in lead win,as the dutchman qualified just 3rd and dropped down even to 4th early in race,but regained positions soon and took over the lead of the race when polesitter headed to pitlane for his mandatory pitstop. R.Kardol led the final 16 laps of the race,returning from pitlane ahead of his main rival,scoring his 3rd fastest lap of the race while increasing his lead - 20th top5 finish in his account. Mr Alpha,first name True,scored his 4th pole position in qualifying,tying for 2nd most on this chart. He led first 28 laps of the race,but lacked the pace to regain the lead after pitstops shuffling and had to settle for 2nd place finish,which is his 7th top5 finish,but he still clocked the 7th closest finish in RTFR XL history. Despite qualifying just 0.1s behind polesitter,Unite did not had the overall pace during the race to even consider challenging for the win - 3rd place finish is his 8th top5 finish here. Gemini joined RTFR XL just for 3rd time and despite having personal worst qualifying result he finished in best position ever - 4th,improvement by 2 positions. After 2 DNFs in row,Fatass finished his 4th RTFR XL race,improving the only previous finish by 15 positions - 5th place finish for him and 4th top5 finish for Finland in this race alone.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
R.Kardol has entered himself in closest 10 finishes chart for the 3rd time as a winner - no other driver is there more than once as a winner.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
...is also the winner R.Kardol with the work free pitstop in length of 10.29 seconds. There were a total of 5 shorter legal pitstops,but all of them refuelled the car.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Fragmaster's Fatass started 14th and finished in as the top5 closer - a gain of 9 positions during the race,just one position better than 2 other drivers.
* HONORABLE MENTION :
Finishing a race in relatively difficult combo in not long circuit on lead lap is not easy task for many. Cossi did not only that,but also improved his previous best finishing position by 1 position and that despite clocking just 14th fastest lap of the race. Deffinitelly a valuable experience building block to create more success in future.
VOD at Youtube:
Well,due real life commitments the results are ready a bit later than usually,but better late than never,right? During this time the combo for next RTFR XL has been submitted (worth to note that it's the 3rd and last R.Kardol's choice of this year) - it will be already the 6th visit to Aston's North configuration,3rd in reversed direction. But it will be the first time of racing a TBO class car in this configuration - the all wheel drive RB4 has been selected for 54th RTFR XL. But that's a plan for the tuesday in 4...ehm,3 weeks. Next up is normal RTFR version - combo has already been announced before,full information is also ready - XRG at South City's longest configuration.
