Just like in real life, where you need to complete a check list before the flight, here is one with tips you might want to have fun with it.
-Its not recommended to change weight distribution and aerodynamics of the vehicle. I've made many stability and flight time tests trying to make it simmilar to how it behaves in real life. But if you find a better setting on these things, where its more realistic with weight distribution and it flies better, please contact me
- You cant really control it in mid air, LFS is not made for airplanes. But you can slightly unsettle it using throttle and brake, just like bikes when on air
- Changing gear ratios wont make difference because wheels will stop touching the ground when the vehicle hits around 60kph air speed
- For making it fly, do not add wind, it will make the plane unstable and wont help in anything. Go down a slope, like BL2 straight, just before the bridge, or the big straight in Aston shown on the video above. You can also make a platform well above the ground and just drive it off there.

LFS its about cars and speed, but I love this mod))

This is awesome! However I can't get it to fly that long. Maybe it's because I don't have a correct fuel % for weight distribution? Could you add what the recommended fuel % is?

Yes thats it, i just tested it right now. I've been using 50% during the tests and forgot about it on the check list.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback guys! Thanks to Nova it was possible to improve the mod and also have fun with people.

Now we can fly way longer and cleaner/stable than before, using the World Record setup developed by the players who was on the Airport Server, also created by Nova.

I've just updated the mod with this incredible setup upgrade. While the tips for flying with it remains the same, the fuel load at start is now reduced to 25%, instead of the 50% i first recommended.

Oh, yeah! Indeed, you are the current WR holder. And it was a very smooth and clean flight.
Did you used any different setup for it? I'd add it to the main mod setup if so.

About the flight itself, it's actually quite easy, nothing different with setup (except it was on 50% fuel). Short answer is to just use non-stabilized keyboard (Kn). And here's longer explanation from post that I linked in my previous reply as well:
