I have noticed that with the current version of LFS (0.7D) that every time you change to a different car your setup changes to the default setup. I don't believe this used to be the case, your setup used to remain at the last one used. Now it is easy to make a mistake and not realize you are using the default setup.

Wrong - that was always the case. What's new with mods is that if you change car,it's selected with default colors no matter what was selected before. The color selection memory still works with standard cars though.
