hi,

i was wondering if there was any way that i could get a rendered picture of the skin i´m working on at the moment (to use as a wallpaper for example). i still look into the possibilities of sometime doing that myself but it seems that the complexity of the task will make this a rather lengthy project. i´m busy already with the basics of photoshop...

any ideas?

..not only do we have no idea which car you're talking about, we dont know what the skin looks like either; both would be helpful
(kinda hard to render a skin without the car type.. and the skin at that)

Im sure i would be able to help you out there. I do have the XRGTR ready to do, so if you have a skin for that car that would be easy done.

only the cars are not quite right

knevel is a fz50 gtr, the eagle and blue 17 are for fxo gtr cars.

i do like the picture setup you made. if you could do that again that would be great. also the high res download option is cool. might make a wallpaper out of it.

I do 101 other thing in same time

Anyway, if I find time, I do right renders :P

(Those pic's take 4h to render and 3 or 4h to test camera etc)

I had a quick go at a couple of renders.

The FZR will follow later/tomorrow

(spent 2 hours on these so I hope you think there at least ok )

Ok, 4 renders, 1600x1200 resolution, total rendering time ~4h.

one question, though, why is it that rendering takes such a long time??

because the computer is calculating the reflections and refractions of the entire scene.

his probably would take longer since he has that mirror floor (which imo i think looks terrible and truely unreal), therefore it has to do 2x than someone with a nonreflective floor
keep in mind its calculating everything in the scenery too.. reflections of anything in that scene, so it takes a very long time.. especially depending on lighting.

I'd also like a render from these skins if possible
