Founded in 1985 in Marechal Cândido Rondon, Paraná, the company that started by creating double-cabin versions of Ford and Chevrolet pickup trucks ended up specializing in adaptations, whether for style or specific needs of companies and customers. the F-Maxx, a huge pickup truck measuring 7.5 meters in length and 5.95 m in wheelbase (measurement greater than the entire length of a RAM 1500). And what justifies this is the chassis, which in the last units produced was a Ford Cargo 1723, that is, a truck. This is the most equipped and luxurious example, with a refrigerator, three sunroofs, WiFi network for up to 55 devices and a sound system with four 10″ subwoofers installed in sealed boxes on the floor. Stainless steel grille, LED headlights from a version of the Ford Ranger that only exists in Europe and 22.5-inch polished aluminum wheels complete the exotic look. The engine is a six-cylinder Cummins 6.7 turbodiesel. It's the ISB 6.7, basically the same engine as the RAM 2500, accompanied by a 10-speed single-clutch automatic transmission. The final ratio of the differential is lengthened to make the ride more comfortable and (try to) reduce consumption. Inside, the dashboard is from an F-250 with the necessary modifications. That's because it was necessary to install an air parking brake, while in the pickup it was on the pedal. The driving position is as privileged as that of a truck driver, which the F-Maxx is nonetheless. There is good ergonomics and the controls are all very accessible. there is no F-Maxx like this one, and apparently there won't be any. Some bois out in England ran across an old TAKUMI 1.6L engine and thought they would shoehorn it into a old UF1000. They were kind of drunk so they thought it would be a good idea to place it in the back where the seats were. Little did they know they had to spend countless hours developing a rear subframe to accommodate a double wishbone suspension and the engine/transmission. The engine was refreshed with new piston rings, gaskets and a custom header/exhaust. Makes great sounds and moves pretty fast. In the right hands it could even give a TBO a run for it's money! Equipped with a front wheel drive, a monocoque body, front disc brakes, a hydraulic power-steering and a completely unique self-leveling hydropneumatic suspension, the Lemon Fantomas was the most advanced car of its era and did not have any direct competition in terms of comfort, safety and handling. Despite of being under-powered and heavy, the car became very successful in rallying. Flying through the snowy Monte Carlo and endless safari rallyes, the car excelled with a stock suspension, where others struggled to finish with strengthened springs. The car did not have any steering feedback, but was stable even if one of the tires exploded. During an assault on a French president, two tires on the presidential Lemon were shot at 100kph, but the driver was still able to drive the car safely to the airport. This particular Lemon was built between 1963 and 1968 and upgraded using 1962-1964 British twin-carburettor conversion. This enables player to setup multiple stock and racing vehicles using the voluntary intake restriction. The default setups represent a cheaper and lighter version without the power-steering and the automatic clutch.For the racing versions use the default setups (max 6500 rpm) For the 1963 - 1968 stock version use the "stock" setup with 6% voluntary intake restriction (max 5750 rpm) For the 1963 - 1968 luxury version use the "luxury" setup 6% voluntary intake restriction, 50kg of voluntary added mass, setup in-game automatic clutch and set the force-feedback strength to zero (max 5750 rpm) The mod is ideal for vintage twisty races and some rally-cross on rough surfaces. Requires smooth driving (and a bit of practice), as it does not have a force feedback and the suspension is floating. Faster drivers should be able to keep up with the UF 1000 cars.
