After seeing few drivers in practice,I'm forced to remind about track limits: the track is defined by paved surface (asphalt/tarmac,while sidewalks on and after bridge are also accepted),grass however does not count as track. The general rule is as always - 2 wheel on track at all times! That means not just cutting turns over grass is track limits violation, but also running wide exiting turn is track limits violation if more than 2 wheels leave the paved surface.
In case you left the track by mistake, make sure it's obvious there is no advantage gained (lift throttle) - if driver ahead increases gap or driver behind decreases gap after you have run off track, then no post race action will be taken.
All the points scoring laps (in qualifying and in race fastest lap) will be checked by default after the race, while rest will be checked randomly. Drivers seen leaving voluntary the legal racing surface will be checked through whole distance. Remember - this race will be broadcasted,so we'll have clues already from there!
GáboR triumphs in the Rony Tuesday's Fun Race Classic round at Westhill!

B2R Antonio closes 2nd race after a dramatic clash with Rik Kardol in Lap 1! [FU] NOSLE remains out of trouble, and closes P3. TJ finishes P4 thanks to a very good start of the race, while Thehemuli completes the Top 5.
Once again we got a proof that only fair racing regarding track limits can be done only in South City - racers were pushing so much, that some of them forgot about fairness and simply used every patch of real estate without care if it belongs to legal racing surface or not. Could blame the track, which was built to resemble racing circuits of that era - there were no armcos, barriers or speedbumps to prevent drivers from cutting the turns or motivate not to run wide exiting turns - the latter was the bigger problem this time as that allowed the racers to go through turn with higher speed compared to fair line, gaining also advantage on following straight with higher turn exit speed. Multiple warnings and a post in this thread was no real help - some kinda blimped throttle when exiting turn, but the disadvantage of leaving track "by mistake" was not evident.
After consideration, the same penalty system as in the infamous 55th RTFR XL was used to decide penalties:
• 2/3 of covered laps count (10 or more violations in full distance) - disqualification from race results
• 1/2 - 2/3 of covered laps count (7-9 violations in full distance) - 45 seconds penalty added to finish time
• 1/3 - 1/2 of covered laps count (5-6 violations in full distance) - 30 seconds penalty added to finish time
• 1/5 - 1/3 of covered laps count (3-4 violations in full distance) - 15 seconds penalty added to finish time
Additionally fastest laps in qualifying were checked and everyone violating track limits in their fastest lap will receive 5 seconds penalty added to finish time.
Also there were few incident reports:
Antonio runs into turn with too high speed for the situation, where another car is on outside of the right turn of chicane - avoidable contact happens with multiple positions loss to the victim.
Even if report lacks proper description and has too much personal opinion, incident was identified. Doktor misses braking point and with avoiding action prevents a mass crash.
G.Contrera's controls input shows full throttle despite having a car with less speed right ahead until contact happens.

2nd race in row was held on track with "historic" in it's name, this time it was truly historic type of track - layed out on public roads, marked by arrows and hay bales. Despite all the nagations above in the post, still it was an intense race with a car with very specific driving characteristics, unknown to drivers mostly driving much more modern cars. The heavy revving inline 8-cylinder engine delivered just 150 horsepower, the lack of differential lock made the racing more difficult, the skinny tyres were deliviring just a small contact patch - conditions that were well known to drivers from that era,but new to learn to our simracers.
With all the penalties we have a new surprise winner of the race - the brazilian driver would have just repeated his best previous result 4th if the drivers ahead would have stayed fair, but TJ was promoted to race win despite the 5 seconds penalty for track limits violation in qualifying - it's the 4th top5 finish for the unexpected winner. Also Thehemuli climbed 3 positions up due penalties and repeated his previous best finishing result - 2nd,scoring his 5th top5 finish. Nosle finished 3rd and with 30 seconds penalty gets also classified 3rd - that's 6 positions higher than his previous best. Even if Gábor crossed the finish line first and posed for photos on victory lane, his racewin was revoked and the season standings leader was demoted to 4th place due track limits violations, including in his fastest lap of the race - still a 34th top5 finish for him. It was just 4th RTFR race for Tazka and even without penalties for the rivals it would have been best ever finish for him - the original 6th place finish was upgraded to his 1st top5 finish. Additionally the 2 fastest drivers have to be mentioned, coincidentally they even met directly on track - R.Kardol's lap was the fastest legal lap in qualifying, earning the dutchman his 13th pole position, that is a tied 3rd most with Fast. Despite multiple track limits violations,Antonio's fastest lap of the race was legal, proving that staying within track limits can be fast too. That's his 1st fastest lap of the race in his 2nd attendance.
