Nope, Montoya took an engine change and it was changed to their upgraded engine where Kimi was on the older one and on it's second race.
I don't know what you have against Kimi but all you replys about him seem to be based on the fact that you don't like him.
I happen to Like alot of them in F1, I love seeing young drivers coming through lower teams and making a success of a mediocre team (Look at BAR, the team has grown so much since Jenson joined them)
Onto the origional question, yes I think he will be successfull, but I fee; he will have a harder time doing so, aslong as McLaren make a car that does the races Alonso will do the rest, he has great talent but the best thing would be watching Fisci blast past him off the start!
Want to see Webber make it though, he's had so much bad luck and definetely deserves a top drive.
Tips for the future, Liuzzi and Speed, both do good for the car they have and both will race another season along side each other, Monteiro done well to, keeping up with Toyotas in a race is something to be happy about.
The best driver atm is definately Kimi, and Alonso would n ever be world champion without his luck that all drivers in front of him got bad luck. In my opinion is the world champion 2005 Kimi and not Alonso! He is maybe an average driver but with his dammed Luck he became world champion 2005
well it seemed kimi had no luck yesterday either, having an altercation in t1 on lap1 and that brought him out the race, but well done to alonso for yesterday
