"Your vehicle is not known on this host" has been there for a long time.
Yesterday, sometime between 10:54 and 13:59 (time between last working mod and 1st broken mod) the newly updated mods broke and couldn't be loaded in multiplayer servers, it shows "Your vehicle is not known on this host"
I was about to make a new post when I found this, so I post my findings here:
Hello,
our users have found a car that isn't drivable on our server.
The Insim packets show some really weird bug. It seems that
for one specific car, the ISP_SLC and ISP_NPL do not contain
the correct car id.
Here are some examples, and the corresponding Insim packets:
Case 1 (working example): Using the FXO SPORT AWD~57 - ID: A4D807
Spec -> Garage screen -> select the car
ISP_SLC 02-3e-00-01-07-d8-a4-00
Case 2 (problem): Using the FXK TURBO~004 - ID: 6F9762
Spec -> Garage screen -> select the car:
ISP_SLC 02-3e-00-01-00-00-00-00
-Message "Your vehicle is not known on this host" instantly appears on the client's side
-Notice the car's id is just 000000
Clicking "join" will only print the message "Your vehicle is not known on this host" but
won't let you join.
However, its possible to join in a different car, then go to garage (keep player-id)
, select the FXK TURBO again and try the track.

-This packet is actually ok. You can see the car's id.

This packet is corrupt again. Car id is just 000000 again.
This time we got Insim packets, however, LFS won't let you drive that car.
First time I've seen this thread is today, 11th March. I pop in to the bug section every now and then but I'm not constantly browsing it. By the way, this is in no way a bug in the LFS program. It's an issue in part of the mods system that runs on the web server.
Shortly after it was posted on mod system bug reports, I got a notification, passed it to Victor and he fixed the issue.
