If i buy a S2 licence, how long till i can use it? is it a download or do i get a cd in the post??

its just a code you type into your demo that makes it S2, no more downloading anything else, just a nice simple code

No download and no CD. You downloaded everything with the demo already, you just have to unlock it.

If you're playing the demo and have downloaded the full S2, you already have the necessary software, there's nothing extra you need to download or have shipped to you. You just unlock the extra content from inside the game once you've purchased your S2 licence. The purchase itself is pretty much instant in you pay by credit card, other methods can take a few hours up to a day or two (I think).

unless lfs only make a code up wen u pay for it, guess thats how it works

Generally people get flamed to death, then banned when they come on here asking for setups/skins for the S2 cars when it quite blatantly says 'Demo Racer' under their username.

Just get it paid for, its only £24 after all

Plus, you won't be able to race online with a cracked version.

...and its every single penny worth!

Yes, there is a crack and it only works offline. People found using it usually get banned, so it's just not worth it. Either find a way to make £24 or carry on playing the demo

There is no code. Load up LFS, click `unlock .... blah blah` and you have to enter your username and password. From my understanding this is then checked when you try play the game online so if you have anything dodgy going on LFS will know

What's stopping the devs getting pissed off with everyone ripping them off and just jacking it in? I assume you're asking out of idle curiosity and its not something you'd actually do. If it is the later Dave I'd vote to have you banned EVEN if you did pay your £24. You're asking the wrong people anyway - You could try asking the scumbags on warez forums but I'm guessing pretty much everyone on this forum is hugely indebted to the devs for brininging us this game and I feel sure many would be happy to pay the £24 many times over.

Bloody hell!! it was only a question, i wanna know if buying this is really worth it. So i wanted to know if u get ne one like in the demo racing? and if someone has cracked the s2 part of the game then its goin to make the game shit for the rest of the s2 people.

People who use a crack can only use it offline, they can't go online with the wider community. That is impossible. They'd have to somehow crack the master server itself and then lock me in a cell so I can't fix the master server.

We normally ban people who ask for a crack, by the way. This is the official forum.

Anyway I hope that info helps you. The S2 license lasts as long as we are still operational, by the way (which should be several years). Every time there is an update you can still unlock all the S2 content. We don't take that away from you.

I think it was totally worth buying S2, especially the online racing part, because of the Wrecker Barricade, you won't find much people who are crashing into you just for fun. IF you wanted to use a crack, you wouldn't have the best part of LFS. Don't even think about hamachi, hamachi's IPs are blocked, so you can't setup a cracked server

Thanks for your info Scawen, I was somply jus checking thats all. And i didnt even ask for a crack. All i wanted to know was other peoples throughts on the S2 part of the game. Did realise people would start thinking that i might be looking for a crack. I should be getting the S2 part soon. Jus gotta wait for wen i get paid. Then let the fun begin!
