My day was good, untill a friend phoned to help him carry 50kg weights from Argos to his house (about a mile) through town. So it was 25kg per arm and of i went, only thing argos tend to wrap boxes with those hard plastic string like tapes which was the only thing i had to hold on to and these basically cut into my hands!!!!!!!! hurt like a biatch!

but in the end i got there, slightly wet(sweat), arms felt a bit numb and hands like if i had just burned them on a stowe.....

then i got home and had a lovelly mexican dinner... yum yum!

mad
My Day
My day started like usual, set alarm for 10am. Got up, had a wash, then checked the post where i had the new Kasabian album sitting in a box from Play.com

Then about 10:50am left for work at jolly old PC World :P. Walked about all day, helping the odd customer and drinking tea, then counting the tils at the end of the day.

Got home at 8:10pm and i feel shattered :| Too much work for me!

Came on here, put in the new Kasabian album and chill out.

Gonna eat in a bit then gonna go to bed and get up at 10....

omg, someone who can operate a pc works at pc world??????

obviously you dont work at out local one then!
I had to trim some bushes in the garden... At least I could get rid of the stress by thinking someone's finger was between the shears. It was much easier that way

No, i dont lol!

Here, we can all use PC's, its just the majority of the customers know about PC's than we do! (lol )
What a great, insightful topic. Can't believe noone thought of it before

Today I slept to 10am, forced myself out of bed long enough to check the post, have a fag, check ebay, then decided its too late to crawl back into bed. Shortly followed by a 2 hour drive across country roads to go visit my sister. Almost got rear ended by a 4x4 while the driver was on the phone. That might have hurt a tad. Then ground the chassis, stupid C4 sitting too low for the roads around here Then saw a for sale sign on the way home, and brought a Labrador Now I'm here having a cig and about to visit the loo, trying to think of more exciting stuff to do tomorrow.

thats not so bad then, but PC world with their adds for dual core (download emails WHILE uploading pictures - hey wait, my pda can do that...) and mis-selling of products (my friend got sold a broadband router instead of a hub... when he had dialup!)

Lol, the adverts are indeed ridiculous.

There is no way live stock would be placed on to the shop floor- talk about a security risk! (especially with the laptops) illepall

Also, the fact that the way the sales advisor just shows the customer everything as well, with a sense of humour does my head in.

Oh well

Quote from Funnybear :Come to the pub with me. It's amzing what you can find at the bottom of a pint glass.

At the end of 2 pints (from cans) all I've found is loneliness and sorrow.

Presumably you've found more interesting things, like bits of bourbon biscuit or peanut?
You guys lead such interesting lives *sigh*

Just got up, sculled a glass of OJ (fighting a cold, took a sick day yesterday), getting stuck into my first espresso. Yesterday inspected a flat in Caulfield North because our current landlords want to renovate. Seemed nice. Two courtyards for the beagle and across the road from a giant park (although in the dog's eyes it's just a massive toilet).
Throat feels like crap. No jamming for me tonight

But I'm not in Lebanon or Iraq, so life is pretty good

I once found a cigarette butt at the bottom of a pint glass. That'll teach me to steal another bloke's beer...

The do at the one near me. I spent many a hours in there laughing at the staff (I would have appiled for a job, but rope in bus fairs to and from, by the end of the week I'd be out of pocket), I went in for a mouse (only store open and I needed a mouse badly), I left with a smile from ear to ear as the staff were trying to make sense of what just happened.

I ended up selling one of the floor staff a computer. Was awesome, we got to the till, he pulled out his credit card and got it zapped before he worked out what was going on. I said he could keep the computer as I already had one and left.

FUN FUN FUN!
Went to pub. Drank beer with workmates. Workmates went back to work. I was left drinking beer. Oh, and smoking. Got some cash out the hole in wall, first checking it wasn't rigged. Went to another pub to wait for my bus. Drank another beer and smoked another fag. Texted a few mates aboutmy recording session on Friday. Needed my vocal girlie to go though some tunes with me. Got bus. Saw mates car in Local pubs car park. went into pub. Drank more beer and smoked more fags with her and her daughter and ex husband and his girlfriend and my other mate who might/might not be going out with my mate with eh daughter. Who is also my housemate. So. Drank some more, smoked some more. Set the world to rights. Got a lift home and now blogging this forum and watching lost . . .

All in all a failry average day.

Couldhave done with being a bit more chipper. But hey, got a lot on my mind atm.
Got any tunes to share with the class, Bear?

At work now. Feeling pretty shite but better than yesterday. Wishing that babbling chook in the next cube would stfu for two seconds. Amazing how some people can literally talk all day and say absolutely bugger all.

It was raining alot where I live today, too. We have got about 2 inches of rain yesterday and today. Rain, rain, rain. Hard to believe it was nearly 30 C a week ago, now its 19 C.

I cant complain. I hate sunny, hot weather.
It's sunny and cool today, working toward 20 C. Lovely. But last week it bucketed with rain, mostly during the periods when I was riding to or from work. May explain my cold. Well, that's what you get when Spring is near in Melbourne. A little tease of nice weather in late August, then you get all the rain and crap you didn't get in winter squashed into a few days. Then it's nice again. For a while.

It'll be nice and hot in a couple of months and hopefully the wife, the dog and I will be living closer to the beach by then.

I hate having a cold - I can't sing and I don't feel like beer at all. Oh the humanity!
Oh, wait...I still feel like vodka
Wow, got up just 15 minutes ago, getting ready for work at 11.

Drinking some apple squash...hmmm

Started my first day back in college, Int 2 Administration, yay! /sarcasm

First thing to do today, complete as many tasks on the booklet called. "Microsoft Word Basics" pretty much an easy college day for me.
Woke up at 6.30. And hour and a half before my alarm goes off. Gutted. Had a shower. Missed my bus. Made myself a toasted cheese sandwich with coleslaw for brekky. Had a cup of tea. Caught my next bus. Late for work. But noone noticed. Chatted up cute bar girl whilst getting a coffee. She's 19. Bit young really. Cute though. Trawled the forum. Smoked a fag. Had a bit of a gossip with a work mate about the current political climate of the Oxford Playhouse and why I didn't ge the job I wanted here even though I'm eminatly qualified and experianced. Moved a van inthe car park and parked the Directors car. Poured myself a cup of water. Now getting hungry.

Weather. Bright, but over cast. Could rain.
