RETRO CUP brings Live for Speed back at the golden era of Endurance Racing!
Strap your seatbelts on, hang tight: these cars are FAST & DANGEROUS, and the circuits are as unforgiving as they can get!

Push your machine at the limits, endure the stress, the dangers, live the thrill.
Will you master these beasts or will you finish your race smashing into a pile of bales?


This Special Event is a sort of a Prologue
If the interest around it is good enough, there will be a Summer Retro Cup, featuring new, exciting layouts inspired to the classics of Endurance, more cars & longer races, with drivers swap!

These selected cars have similar levels of performance, but with different strenghts.
Some cars have higher top speed, but less drivability: will you choose consistency or ultimate speed?







This Special Event will take place in Westhill North RGE layout.
A 6.16 km track, modified for the occasion with vintage bales, bridges & more stuff!





EVENT FORMAT & TIMETABLE

Monday, June 19th

17:00 UTC / 19:00 CET / 20:00 EET - 60 minutes Qualifying (Open track)
18:10 UTC / 20:10 CET / 21:10 EET - Race start (90 min/45 laps)

PitStops are not mandatory, but obviously given the race lenght you will need to pit for refuel or change tyres.

This Race is 90 minutes long: so there will be traffic, there will be blue flags with different classes, there will be DRAMA!

Mantain the focus, mantain the speed, get the win!

GENERAL RULES

Respect BLUE FLAG - you may not interfere passing maneuver of lapping car! In qualification - you may not disturb passing car in any way.
Be careful at YELLOW FLAG - slow down if necesary, be ready to avoid crashed cars. Crashed drivers must make sure that their return to racing won't cause other incidents.
No shortcutting in any way. 2 wheels must be on track every time. Usually there will be a layout to prevent shortcutting - if so,moving objects (like posts,tyrestacks,bales) should not be touched for legal lap.
Don't cross the pitline with more than 2 wheels and make way for cars racing at full speed.
Be careful while racing, avoid any contacts with other cars. No crashing, ramming or any other unsportsmanlike behavior at any time.
Drivers with high and/or unstable ping will be asked to leave if not improving it.
No voting for restart/qualification/end race after qualification start (unless command is given to vote for start).
Chatting during race is not forbidden, but pressing binds and (especially - unnesecary) texting too often can result in penalty.
Not racing observers (including drivers who already have retired) may not use chat at all.
Bumpdrafting is forbidden. If not following this rule, you'll get DSQ from the event

Great turnaround for the RETRO TROPHY!

26 drivers took part in the race, splitted between Prototypes & Gran Turismo classes!!
At the end of an hectic 90 minutes of racing, traffic & dangers, it's FM's Ohnifus who WINS the overall ahead of poleman Rony, of Race Green!

It was a race of attritions & DRAMA, in full Vintage fashion: only 3 prototypes managed to finish the race without big incidents: Negrito completed the podium! 👍

In The GT's, it was a ferocious battle for the lead, with minimal gaps: 4 Ford's GT40 finished in close distance, but it was RD2 who won the category, ahead of B2ﾏ Ayoub_MaRoC & poleman NOSLE
