After last weekend spent in Japan, the Paddock of the Retro Championship flies to the Rockingham circuit, for the third round of the Retro Cup Summer Season!

The drivers of the Retro Championship will have to push their vintage cars through the shortest circuit of the calendar: a very different challenge from the previous 2 tracks of the season.
Short lap means more traffic, more drama, more attention needed from the drivers of the faster cars during the lappings.
Who will adapt the best to this half oval-half permanent hybrid?

For the occasion, plenty of Retro details have been added to the venue: bales, marshall posts, old sponsors: you'll find plenty of nice details around the course. Thumbs up

(custom sponsors attached below, you'll have to replace the existing ones in the LFS/Data/Pic folder, be sure to backup first)

- RG^Rony leads the overall and P1 classification, ahead of [MRC]Texas & Lindholm.
- LMP2 classification is led by RG^Lorenzo, slightly ahead of THR Madzarati & Yasin
- GT's are led by Trespasser, with a good margin over Ayoub Maroc & RD2
- Porsche Supercup is dominated by RG^M@ci3k, who's looking like the favourite for the title already

Key rules

- No sign-up needed

- You need to set a time within 112% of the fastest time in your category you're competing in, to be admitted for the race.

- No Mandatory Pit-Stop required, but you may need to do it anyway.

- Mid race join not allowed; you'll need to set a lap in quali to be able to race!

- Car change between Quali & Race not allowed: you'll get severe penalties for that.

2 rounds left,
last race with double points awarded.
So, all still possible!

At the moment, Rony is leading LMP1 standings with a 50 points lead over [MRC] Texas.
Will somebody show up in Aston in the LMP1 machinery to try stop the Race Green ace from winning the title?

LMP2 is the closest fought category at the moment: Mazdarati, Lorenzo, Yasin, Talhanberg are all in close contention.

In GT, Trespasser made a big break by winning two races in a row and a second place in Race 1.
But the field is always very close, with 5-6 cars finishing in the same lap, so the Double Points of the final round could be really crucial.

Porsche Supercup is the only class where the champion could already be determined next week.
Another win for M@ci3k, and the title goes in his polish hands.
