Logitech G29 FF Settings
Hello!
I've got my first wheel, logitech G29 and I don't know what settings to use for force feedback.
For the moment it's on force level 7 and I still find it hard to make a tighter line when the car is oversteering (so when I'm fighting against the FF), is this normal and I just should apply more force to the wheel?
Also, if I'm fighting the FF is there a change to over wear the gears of the wheel?

Thanks.
Hello.

I don't think you need to worry to much if they're gonna wear out. I had mine on 10%-12% when i was first starting out with my G27 and it lasted for a good 5 years. I spent most of the time drifting, which would also mean a constant steering and use of the gears.

You just need to stick with what feels comfortable to drive with.
Keep in mind that you can use comma (,) and period (.) to decrease and increase the force feedback. That way you don't have to go into the settings every time.
i'm using 15-25% on 540 rotation depending on the car, i find slightly stiffer, but not too stiff ffb gives me more information on what the car is doing.
Thanks for the responses!
Yeah, 7% ffb in LFS is normal for fast cars like GTs and open wheelers. For GTi cars I use max of 26% for XFG and about 20% for XRG. You should set what ever feels good for you such that you can still know what the car is doing and not to have to fight against the wheel.
