It should be adjustable from 1/8th to 1/4th, and then 1/4th increments after that. The scenery would have to be like in the middle of nowhere, lol.

A longer strip, yes.
But I think 6 miles is a bit much, even for testing max speed. I reckon 2-3 miles would be more than enough. Let's be honest, even downhill with a tailwind the UF1 would be at full speed by then
