RETRO CUP is back!
Last time around we were racing in the hot summer, this time we're heading towards Winter time.
Take back your vintage racing suits and gears, it's time to go Retro Racing in the Retro Cup Winter Series!
A multi-class championship with Retro Cars, that will make you feel like a driver in Le Mans in the 70s & the 80's!
5 Events in total, composed by 1 Special Event and 4 Championship events, with the last round awarding Double Points.
No Sign-Ups, open access (even though you gotta show some pace to be able to race)
WHAT HAPPENED LAST EDITION?
The Summer Serie saw Rony Kronpuss taking the crown in the LMP1 category: the RG Veteran managed to resist to the late charge of [MRC] Texas in the last few rounds, and kept the lead by a small margin after what was a dramatic Season Finale in Westhill de La Sarthe.
In LMP2, it was another veteran THR Mazdarati who conquered the title, scoring multiple wins and poles and beating RG^Lorenzo in the Season Finale.
In GT's it was a display of domination by Trespasser, who was one step ahead of the rest of the field in most of the races: in Porsche Cup, it was another dominant effor by the Porsche Whisperer RG^M@ci3k, who took the title two weeks before the championship finale.
WHAT'S NEW THIS SEASON?
This season, there are a couple of newelty factors that will challenge the drivers.
NEW TRACKS
Out of the 5 tracks we're going to race in, 2 of them are brand new, made for the occasion.
The Green Hell of the Lorenzring awaits as Round 1 of the season, and the new, Ultra-Fast & scary circuit of Berlin, inspired to the AVUS, will be the Season Finale Track.
NEW CARS
New season, new cars and overall balance.
The McLarry will be introduced as an available car in LMP1 alongside the Wessex74sp, wich have been promoted.
A new Hypercar class have been founded with the new Fraud 040 Le Mans, wich sits between a Prototype and a GT in terms of performance.
Than we'll have the GT category, with the usual Fraud060 & Piran Firefly 300.
Than, the Porsche Cup class, an absolute must have!
