Saw this on CAD the other day- it was enough to make me reinstall Trackmania Sunrise.

Reminds me of the advert for the new Astra that's on tv atm. Looks really good, looks really organic, probably as a product of a great many people choosing their own lines... crazy

I got TMSunrise in Game for a fiver just after release- must have been a mistake in pricing because I keep seeing it for 25 quid everywhere else. Lucky eh

Btw, were the replays combined ingame or were they composited in Vegas?

i would imagine that you would need some serious hardware to do 1000 replays at once, although i doubt that someone would record something 1000 times!

I'd guess because TM isn't that intensive the replays were run in-game - if not, how did they composite those clips in a video editor without the cars being translucent?

the translucent thing was the one thing i was thinking "how the hell at", but i suppose it MUST have been done ingame then
