The online racing simulator
No Acceleration from 4000 RPM, Max Speed 120 KM/h
I am using G920 wheel/Pedal set and windows 10

I'm new to this
So I spend some time in "training' sessions" - Let's say I wasn't a newborn talent

Suddenly after ten minutes play, the acceleration dies out at about 4000 RPM and the max speed is limited to 120 KM/h (before I hit 200)

Then I tried another identical G920 (I happen to have) – Everything is working fine again – But then after a very short time, the same issues happen

When using the mouse – there is no problem

uninstalling and installing LFS again – didn't help
Are these exact numbers? 4000 RPM and 120 km/h or does it vary?

I'm asking in case you damaged the engine, by shifting to low gears while at high speed. In that case your engine power is reduced and the engine makes a damaged engine sound (like popping while revving). This damage gets worse the more times you over rev.
Thamks
These are approximate numbers
I myself suspect that I have damaged the motor or the clutch - but shouldn't that also apply when I use the keyboard/mouse?

And isn't there an option to repair these - especially for beginners who fumble around on the training ground ;-)
if you press f9, you will see clutch temp and engine damage indicators, check those.

i also suggest turning on pedals in display options, maybe you have incorrectly calibrated axis and having something half pressed constantly or something to that effect.
First image, I don't know why speed is low, maybe try what johneysvk said:

Options - Display - Show pedals - YES

Then you can see if your pedal axis is reaching the top.

Middle picture shows overheated clutch, slipping badly.
I guess i found a solution - indirectly with your help
I chance from axis 5 to 4 for the Clutch - That did it
But Why??
And why did it work for the first ten minutes??

Thanks a lot to get me on the track

How old is your equipment? i had similar problem, over the years my clutch pedal accumulated lot's of dust which caused clutch pedal randomly be activated between 1-15% until i cleaned it, maybe in your situation its worse
Thanks for your answer
But - Hmm - But if the problem is mechanical, how a chance in the setting should solve it?
Anyhow I don't get it - logically - why It fix the things chancing the axis for the Cluch from five to four???
I think, in order to clear up a lot of confusion in here, please provide either:
- a replay of the whole phenomenon and post it here as an attachment so we can check (.SPR in single player, save with buttons 1 or 2, or .MPR in multiplayer with button 2. Find the replays in LFS/data/spr or LFS/data/mpr)
- a short video, with Show pedals set to YES, showing the beginning (when you started the race or joined/spawned with the car) and also the problem at the end, uninterrupted if possible (upload to YouTube as unlisted and just post the link here, or similar).

if the axis you had previously selected was centered(like a steering wheel axis, combined brake/throttle axis, or an analog stick from a gamepad) it would stay at 50% clutch engagement

i don't know if you tested your pedals and wheel in the axis selection mode but you can press pedals etc. in that view to see which number is for which axis

In the singleplayer menu when youre selecting track/cars/ai there is a option to allow car reset which fixes all the damage on top middle of the screen. The command /canreset=yes can be also used on track or online if you have admin access on a server
