OK alxf1 i had him on the phone he was eating his dinner but he said he wud stay

I hope he retires tbh, he's had his spell as champion, now others are taking away his limelight he is returning to his old ways. Trying to pull dirty manouveres etc.

get him out of f1, and let a great 2007 start with fresh faces=

I hope and suspect he will base his decision on what he wants for himself not what some people on a website tell him to be honest.

I hope he stays too - how much better would it be for others to beat him when he's still around and still competative. Surely it would slightly devalue the future successes of Kimi, Alonso, Kubica etc if he left then they started winning?

If he stays on for 07 there is no way in hell will he let the team put Kimi in the sister car.

Thats the difference between him and other greats like Senna, he hasn't had to fight his team mate. He has had the car made for him and the team built around him, Senna had to get on with it and race his team mate.

He probably has more control over the team in his contract than the team owner does

Right. The same Senna that refused to drive for Williams in 1993 because the Frenchman was in the other car. Or the Frenchman that preferred rookies (or near rookies) as his team mate.

Schumi is just as ruthless as all the other modern greats. I bet Mansell was partly to 'blame' for having Patrese in his team at Williams in the early '90s. Someone quite quick to provide support, but not quick enough to provide a threat. In fact, in the modern age, only Senna and Prost shared a car, and they both hated it so much they got out at the earliest opportunity.

Just to set the record straight of course. Don't want rose-tinted specs on at this stage

And Piquet-Mansell dont forget.

We where also lucky enough to see Hill & Prost, but unfortunately Hill was still learning the ropes at the time.

EDIT: Didn't we get Hill-Villeneuve too?
