LFS France Endurance Series | Informations and discussions

In 2011, the French community's Live For Speed Endurance Series competition closed its doors. Today, the LFS France team is pleased to announce its return with a revamped formula and the use of all the tools that our favourite simulation has to offer, bold layouts and mods honed for competition! After experimenting with the 4 h for Anna event, we now bring you this championship.

There will be 7 rounds over the course of the event, with the use of layouts to spice things up for each round! From 1:40h to 8:00h, you'll find formats inspired by real endurance races and the use of tracks reproduced by talented designers. Each race will have its own post on the forum to ensure it's easy for everyone to read. Like last year, the calendar will include a charity event as part of the worldwide 24h for Anna event to raise money for the association Enfance et Cancer.

2 categories will be represented for this championship, the LMP2, powered by KenBlock30's mods, and the GT3, powered by CarlosSainz55 and Aleksandr_124rus's car panel. The BOP will evolve as the season progresses.

To register a team, there will be a section dedicated to this purpose with the conditions to be met in order to be accepted. Crews can consist of 1 to 4 drivers, depending on requirements, and information for the day of the race will be sent by private message to secure access to the server. There is no obligation to participate in the entire championship. However, please let us know if you are unable to participate, or if there are replacements in your crews. You can register here

Drivers can pre-qualify for the race up until the day before the race. This will determine the starting grid. If you are registered but have not pre-qualified, you can still enter the race, but you will start last in your category. The start time for the races is fixed at 21:00 CET. Only Round 6 will have a different time due to the 8 hour format.

The points system is based on the IMSA system, with points awarded for qualifying and the race. You will be entitled to 2 jokers per season, which will allow you to not count less good results. Jokers are awarded at the end of the season. Round 0 doesn't count as an official round, it's just a shakedown to adjust the last details, so you're free to come or not without wasting a joker!

Each race will have its own briefing, which will be helpful for specific situations.

The formalities of the rules can be found here. Don't hesitate to ask your questions under this post. Our discord is also available to answer any further questions.

Hi everyone !

Due to some update on the GT3, we will do a swap between Pochete, we will use the 92 Protech made by Kenblock30 instead of the 118. As the car are balanced to the 4M, Fera and the 8R Evo, it's will be easier to have good battle on track !

What about the server? Thank to LFS France friends Dekojester, server and race direction will be provide by New Dimension Racing. Due to this, NDR will be the main sponsors for race 2. Thank you ! Their logo will be available on the ressource pack.

For the streaming, we will have more information to come later.

Thank to everyone involve, and have a good week Wink

Hello everyone.

As the information can be as clear as I think, I will update a rule. You can register a car with 1,2,3 or 4 drivers for longer races, but you can enter smaller races like 4h or less with all drivers of the car and we keep the best result for the team. Only the driver champion will be different, due to the finishing position of the driver.

For example:

Team 1 will have 3 drivers in the race: D1, D2 and D3.
Team 1 wins the race, they get 350 points, no matter if D1, D2, D3 win. The car will get the maximum point and the next point will be taken by the next team.
For the Drivers Championship, D1, D2 and D3 will have different championship points.

But also, to make it easier for some, drivers from team 1 can join team 2 if they want to race. We hear that some want to be a "free agent". The same rules apply as before.

I hope this will make it easier for everyone! Have a nice week Thumbs up
