new p2p extension for firefox
the new private filesharing network allpeers has opened his doors
its a firefox extension where you can sign up and then share files
via drag and drop with users you invited in
as far as i understood every user with the same file downloaded
will share this then in the private group you are in

its still in beta phase and a bit unstable now and then
but the idea is nice and if you like to test it your welcome to add me to your list
im just sharin electronic music livesets, btw i noticed that it wont work when 2 people with router and closed ports try to share

Do I get this clear.. you can only share with people you invited or that invited you? Doesnt kind of take away the whole idea of P2P sharing wich uses a huge network of anonymous users, while this uses private network wich kind of makes it become like MSN file transfer.. doesnt it?

sounds good - might use it if i ever need to send something to someone when Messenger is being slow, that is if they make it Firefox 2 combatible!
BitTorrent FTW!

yeap but this isn't "illegal" file sharing, it's just to send your friend a few mp3's

Can't see why for small files (ie under 7 Mb) it would be easier just to use MSN, larger files i would just YouSendIt to them
