LFS forums administrator

No serioulsy, I have no idea what my dream job would be. I guess I'm pretty happy with my current situation for now Certainly not games developer, though, atleast not in its current form (insane deadlines, long LONG nights, little $$$, and if your game isn't absolutely mindblowing innovative and graphically excellent it's almost doomed to fail. Also I couldn't play my own game anymore because I'd know every nook and cranny of it). Scavier's situation is a different one of course, but this has the drawback of extremely long development cycles.

2 jobs.... 1 mechanic... 2 race car photographer :P
Dream job?

I think I'd like to be a plasterer.

No, really.
has to be wrc driver seen as they are the most skilled drivers in motorsport
Computer Game Development for me, specifically something on the programming side. I dont care about the long hours even during crunch time. The money is nice too, but most importantly I need a creative outlet and if I can tie that up with work then great.

Currently I almost do my dream job, i'd just rather work in games so I can be more creative. I also need to change firm so that I actually get paid my wages too.
i wouldn't mind being a mechanic or pit crew for a racing team, as long as i can get my hands on te car.

more realistically, i would like to design games.
I would like to work with computers, either with software or hardware . I would like to make my own game once, or at least take part in creating a big hit with some innovations, so people will like it, and talk about it, and the game will have such a nice community like LFS has
But if this won't happen, I would like to race with any kind of car .
My actual dream job would be a NASCAR driver!!!! Just think about it for a minute. According to almost everyone here, racing on an oval takes absolutely no skill. At least that is what is constantly flamed here. So, since it takes no skill at all, it would be easy. They race 1 day a week for 4 or 5 hours and last place makes around 2-2.5 times my salary. So, you are looking at around $16000 per hour + travel time of course. You never have to work in the rain, and if it happens to rain halfway through your work day, you get to quit and go home with full pay! Who could ask for anything more?
tristan cliffes translator

or professional payed kart driver, what an easy life, and hardly any press to deal with, unlike F1.
:)
for the last 5 years it has been Airline Pilot ,

but I am thinking of settling with my Private license in a few months and go to the racing side lol.

My dream job would be a Jedi Knight. I used to go out with a girl who is a Jedi. No, really.. it's official, according to the last census. Enough people in her village put Jedi as their religion to cause it to appear as a recognised religion on the census, and in her village, Jedi is THE most common religion! Would I lie to you??

I'd especially like to become a Jedi Knight, and get my hands on Queen Amidala

Keeping my wife happy, and having Carmen Diaz as my wife...top that!
Hehe, destroying cars. Like I currently do.
You surely know those crashtests from TV coverage etc.; I'm preparing cars for it and I eventually press "the button". One of the nicest things: We test prototypes and racecars (like F1-cars) too
sad thing: many nice cars are destroyed

btw: No, I won't show you any photos or give you detailed information, it's very secret stuff we're doing :hide:
I wanna be a bum, or a graphical designer thingy (got lots to learn ) At least I won't be going to be something I'm studieing for right now... I'm not going to be an accountant
I'd own a race track by day, driving for my own touring car team, be Samual L Jackson by night, and at the weekends, i'd be a dev.
Traffic cop by day..... airline pilot by night.... i would be rich i tell you... RICH
Quote from AtomAnt :Keeping my wife happy, and having Carmen Diaz as my wife...top that!

Is that a job?
Keeping any wife happy is a job!

I like that traffic cop idea too, but I know I'm too laizy to pass the tests, and the learning part... I just wanna drive and punish people for doing simple stuff wrong. I love it when me and a cop friend pull someone over.
Being realistic, a well paid Network Administrator.

But if realistic-ness was out the window, a well-paid racing driver in whatever series' took my fancy
Loads of things to be honest:

Motorsport rider/driver (either motoGP, F1, Speedway) :moped:
Graphics Design
Track Owner
Architect (Motorsport related)
Race team owner :rally_dri

And the above with money, money, money!!!
....
