Today, when logging in here on the site, I remembered to make an interesting suggestion for Scawen and the entire LFS team.
Why not create a mobile app so we can access many things and even log in to the website with a QR code (Discord or even Steam style) on the website?

The idea would be to have an official LFS app where we could control more of our activities, our training, our posts on the forum and even be able to log in to the website via QR code, and also be able to control our account via cell phone.

I don't know if you like the idea, but I think it could be something very evolved 🤔😁 because I know that some games already have something similar and that we can even have records of our times, etc. in real time on our cell phones

I am already able to login to forum, post and manage my acount using mobile phone. The same way I can also log in to lfsworld and see some additional stats. Did we already become so lazy that we need to scan QR codes instead of typing username and pass?

What you propose, seems to me only like a waste of dev time for pretty much no improvement whatsoever. I'd much rather that devs spend their time on improving actual sim, which is exactly what they're doing right now, give or take some unplanned excursions due to ddos attacks.

I still use this app. It still works and the best feature is that I can instantly see which server the user I added to my friends list is logged into.

It's not just about laziness when logging in, with an app you could create very interesting things in the future, not just log in and go to the website.

SimRacing is now starting to evolve a lot, there are simulators that are currently creating applications for mobile phones that have much more than just that, there are simulators that are really investing heavily in this and there are lots of things that you don't even have on their website, LFS for example (of course I'm not saying do this now but after the LFS update) through the LFS app we could have access to official Telemetry for example, we could follow the race of our teammates.
There are so many things that LFS could do in the future right after the new updates that could make LFS more futuristic


For example, with APP we could be aware of how much progress we were making.

We can request the following feature for this application. It would be much better to be able to see vehicle movements on public LFS servers like in the LFS Remote application. LFS Remote is currently not working.

If MandulAA has time, I would like to share a few features that it can improve in the application.

The future of SimRacing is starting to be like this, there are simulators that currently have all of this in a mobile app and I believe that after the release of the new LFS update it could be something very interesting for LFS in the future

The application is already working with the support of the developers. You can download it safely. It just doesn't have an official announcement. They definitely do not have enough time and resources to develop this application. There is already a problem of resources and time to develop the game. Community members are trying really hard. Everyone needs to be appreciated.
