If you were following my ADDA TDR 15 thread, you will have read about the rivalry between Peugeot's and Audi's diesel-monsters at LeMans. The TL;DR version of that story is that Peugeot always had the faster cars (when it came to hotlaps) but Audi were able to shine on longer stints because of their more reliable prototypes.
So of course, I'm planning to build a rival for the ADDA!
It will be equipped with a V12 close to the 908's specs. This means it will be heavily turbocharged and strong at low RPM. In order to keep it interesting, I will increase the redline and add less boost at the low end. The 6 speed transmission and extra weight should balance it nicely against the less powerful ADDA.
It will have a 3-seater configuration and a closed cockpit like the McLaren F1. The design is based on the Onyx (with it's copper panels), the 908 and the modern 9x8. All the other technical aspects will be figured out later as I do more research.
And yes, the real car is actually called the "FAP" which means "particulate filter" in french. It just had to be in the name
