better 4wd system
I'm sure most of you have noticed that the 4wd system on the RB4 is the same as on most trucks these days. I would like to see a 4wd system similar to the one on the lancer evolution with it's active center and rear differential. I dont know if LFS could calculate all of those variables but it would be nice to have and it would help give the RB4 alot more popularity.
yeah that would be pretty cool

you could check and see if that is already in the improvments/suggestions List

nope I allready checked it's not there.
There was a discussion about it a few days ago. Most seemed in favour (not me though, I like my cars controlled by me not a computer )

Did any Celica have an active diff? When we have a current 4WD car that would have one IRL then maybe it's time to consider it.
Well, i managed to simulate my 325ix with LFS and it's no truck, although it does outrun many of them in the snow/dirt....

Most modern cars are going the easy way, open diffs with ABS sensors doing double duty to brake spinning wheels.
I believe this is how the new BMW 'xi' systems work. Audi's Quattro is one of the best systems today, imo .
I believe it uses a Torsen as a center diff and EDL on the axles (Electronic Differential Locking, so again, ABS
used to brake spinning wheel). The A3 doesn't use a true Quattro driveline, it's a Haldex system.

Although i can't wait for LFS to simulate a proper Torsen type differential, i'm not sure i want to see EDL.
It's not so much simulating reality, as reality is simulating PCs...using computers to defy physics.

I'm AM old-school though.
There's nothing i like better than a longitudinal engine, RWD, sport coupe.
