so i havent hopped on lfs in a hot minute, its been a good 2-3 weeks, and suddenly my controls dont work as they used to. nothing has changed, my control menu looks the same as it always has, so i dont know what's going on. i use a dualsense controller (ps5) controlled through ds4windows, and even ds4windows shows the same things it always has. however, i went into joy.cpl and apparently windows is the issue, what a shocker! anyways, im wondering if anybody else has had this issue or knows enough about windows to help me through this. this is very annoying and nothing i can do in either program will fix it, and im not about to screw with ds4windows, because i know from looking at the output menu that ds4 isnt goofing up.
yes i have restarted my computer.

edit: i apparently do not know how the controller selection menu works. issue solved
