Greetings gentlemen!
It's been a long time since the final round of the previous E-Challenge was held, but things were in the way and now we can finally conclude the 2024 edition.
As always firstly I'd like to thank everyone who did attend the championship and was not put away by the complexity of it and any associated complications. You guys did provide great racing action across all the real life track replicas we had.
Equally I'd like to thank everyone involved in the organization of the series - the New Dimension Racing crew for their traditionally professional handling of the championship and all its dependencies, the SimBroadcasts personnel for providing the awesome broadcasts with professional commentary from all championship rounds, the Master Race car team for giving me the necessary support wherever and whenever it was needed, and last but not least, to the Live for Speed developers for their ongoing technical support that made all of this possible.
Now after 4 events and 8 championship-scoring races these are the official results of the 2024 edition of the E-Challenge:
The fight for the overall championship lead was very intense, but in the end it was Malaysian Imran Azhar, who acquired the overall victory, as he claimed the top spot in the points table with 243 points. Not too far behind was the Simbroadcast's representative driver Adam Brown, who had a rather impressive drive and finished second with 206 points. The last podium place goes to Karolis Motiejuis, who managed to fend off the pressure from Niko Puntola and secured third place with 189 championship points. Niko had 165 points which was enough to keep fifth best driver - Teemu Särkkinen at bay.
The teams championship was rather different compared to the last year, as the Team S1DUS completely obliterated the competition by scoring a decisive championship victory with 437 points. The next team in the championship table - Simbroadcasts, got less than half of the points S1DUS did! Still their 206 points were good enough to win the intense battle for the second place, as 4 teams were in shooting distance. Third place with 200 points straight comes the Race Green Autosports, beating the fourth placed team Zafiralis by a single point! They both did not have it easy though, as only 10 points down another strong entry - YES Motorsports landed with 189 points.
Here are the complete results:
Hope you liked and enjoyed the 2024 season of the E-Challenge, very soon we will be back with the announcement of another futuristic electric racing action as the fifth edition is right around the corner. Watch this space and Simbroadcasts streams to find more!
