I imported the Car in Bryce and it looks very good so far. So I think Bryce does the 3DS Import well enough to work with it.

Brilliant. I was able to do a quick crude render. That is very helpful, and I was able to follow along with only a few minor points of confusion.

A question - how do you select all rims or all tires at one time--
or do you ?

Also, can you create 3ds files for MRT, Fox, F08, BF, and FZR. lol...please ?

I'm going back in and will try a render with one of my skins.
(edit - no I'm not, can't open .max files in bryce).

You can select all the rims by holding the shift key down. and clicking one by one.
No problem about cars i will do that tomorrow and put them in the dowloads.

Attached is a .pdf version of your Bryce5 tutorial.

I made a few minor edits based on a few parts that were confusing when
I first went through it.

All rendering and Bryce noobs -I have zero experience rendering,
and was able to get straight through it in no time.

Let me know if you want to add or change things.

What should I put in the name field of the registration box? I have the serial number do I use the email adress I registered with?

EDIT - worked out you should leave the name field blank.

edit: well, I downloaded all except the FZR, when I try it says

"The document is being edited/updated by an user and is unavailable at this moment."

thx for for the tip. but i have poser 6 and its 100% beter then poser 5.
dont no if poser 5 will do 3ds, poser 6 will import and export 3ds files.
but its a good find m8. now if you can find 3dmax free it would be like finding gold.

It doesn´t seem that they are giving it away free. Just GMax which is worthless because it doesn´t Open / Save .3DS Files... only that special GMax Format.

But on the Daz 3D Site you get Studio for free. It looks like some Poser style Software. http://www.daz3d.com/program/studio/1_0index.php
