Loading edited tracks & keeping mod cars in garage
Hey y'all, happy to be a member here! I'm encountering some issues I can't seem to find answers to on the forum (I apologize if these questions have already been answered).

I created a course layout in the car-park. I assured it was named & saved but when I exit the game and re-enter, it is not showing any tracks to load. I made another layout in the car-park, saved it, exited the game and I'm encountering the same issue ("no files to load"). Both of these layouts I was able to hop back into when I was initially logged into the game, but as soon as I log out (exit the game) there was no option to locate these layouts.
Does anyone have a solution to this? This was all with being connected online to the internet.

My last question is in regards to playing without an internet connection:
Can I save a modded car into my regular garage (so that I don't need to download it each time)? I tried clicking the star at the top of the car page to favorite it, but it made no difference.

Can my edited tracks be saved and available to load when offline?

I greatly appreciate your direction on this (and I apologize if these have already been answered somewhere in this forum).
** Note, I do see the track files I created in the "Layout" folder but can't be accessed in game.
Press "X" or "Y" icon
What are the files named in the data\layout folder?

You can only load them from the appropriate track configuration.

E.g. BL3 or BL3X count as a different configuration.

One of them starts with DBL4 (I renamed it as DBL4APL), the second one I renamed it entirely (excluding DBL4)

Do you mean the X or Y key? I tried this (along with trying it again after pressing Shift - U) but this did nothing (X made me exit the game).
On the track selection screen, there are X and Y buttons next to the configuration names. Those represent the "open configuration" allowing drivers to drive around the entire track area.

Every layout file must start with the track code, e.g. BL4_something.lyt. BL4 means Blackwood Car Park. You can see the short track codes for all tracks here: https://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Category:Tracks

The DBL4 prefix is a mistake, it should probably be BL4_.
What guys are saying is the following. You created a layout on a certain track, say for example BL1. Custom track configuration is required for that and you have two options when loading a track from single player, one is called "x", other is "y". The 1st one reffers to a custom non-reversed variant, say BL1X, other is reversed BL1Y. Your layouts have to have this prefixes in ther name followed by an underscore, for example BL1X_something. To load a custom layout you must load track frist then you must select x or y variant in the track loading menu. I'm not sure how one loads a specific layout from single player.

In an online server, when using airio command is !axi to list all available layouts and !axo something to load say BL1X_something layout if you were already in BL1X.
