The online racing simulator
Hi, I noticed when I'm editing rounds after 23:00 CET (I'm not 100% sure) that days in calendar are "shifted", that is they don't align with date. Few times I added Thursday race on Friday by mistake. It seems to fix itself after I switch one month back and forth. I attached how it looks first time and after mentioned method.

Apparently, I can't set an off-site signup URL. Each time I set one and click on "update season", the link I just typed vanishes, and I get a required field warning.
Thank you for the report, I've fixed that now. I caused the bug when I reused the field for signup notification thread in a recent update.
Thanks for the report. It was a bug in the old code, that fortunately had no other side effects.
Hello, there was an option in season edit page to have template for all rounds. It seems to be gone now. Now, my events are not very elaborate but it's few extra clicks every week. Are there plans to bring the feature back?
Hi,
I could have a look at this.
I removed it when I recently added the ability to show races in minutes (not only laps and hours). The event template system didn't support that as it uses a different type of storage.
I should probably add it back, as I see that the feature is used.
Please, can you put round templates back? Our event rounds have 12 items, it's quite tedious to create the round from scratch. Also can anything be done with selecting the mods/cars, for example some type of filtering/sorting, but with more letters? What I mean pressing more than one letter will start only showing mods that start with those letters. Selecting 12 times the same mod from a list of 300+ items is not fun at all. Our evens have a different mod in each round.

Moreover, if possible could number of car slots and item start times be included in the round template? Usualy scheduled events have these two fixed also. The date can be left as it is, but an option to link all items to the same day would much be appreciated.

I'm well aware that not all of this may be implementable without significant changes, but what ever you could do would greatly help to make round creation less of a tedious task.
I've reinstated the round templates, allowing the new style options.

The change is that practice/qualify/race can all be specified in minutes/hours/laps without restriction.

This required some extra data in the default round format (which is stored in a different way from actual rounds). That means the old default round storage format is invalid and old round templates do not appear.

Please try it and let me know if you think it is working OK.

rane_nbg, I understand your other requests, but as I'm not really good at adding web page input systems and changing Victor's code, it's not easy for me so I can't get into it at this time while I am on a big push to get to our release.
1) The car selection option I see is a pain. At least now you can leave it as "unspecified" due to a recent change.
2) The use of a full calendar for every session in a round seems annoying, I get it. I think it should be you specify the start time of the round, and the sessions should have time offsets from that start time. In that case, the offsets could be inlcuded in the default event format.

But right now I am battling my things to try to get to a release, so I can't take on this extra confusion in the web languages that I'm not really good at. I can do these things but, as you know, it's slow progress working in someone else's system, in strange languages. Big grin
Tnx for re-introducing round templates Scawen, it is good enough for now.

The rest is for sure not a priority and it can wait for another time, when and if you think it's something that should be improved - the ideas you mentioned all sound good, it seems like a good plan.

Last thing we want is to sidetrack you from current focus on the big update. We'll manage just fine for a while with this system.
@rane_nbg, not sure I understood one of your issues well enough, but on PC you can click car list input box and start writing mod name with keyboard, it will go to the entry in list. If you add all sessions first, then you can just click arrow to copy car selection down.
Oh man, tnx so much I see it, that's exactly what I needed Smile

What I did before is select each car in the session through the dropdown menu list...but this arrow shortcut is awesome.
