SSM x K@nflict TAKES A MAIDEN WIN IN JAPAN!

The Rally of Japan turned out to be the most exciting and dramatic Rally of the season yet.

A Rally that defied expectations and delivred plot-twists that could even reopen the championship fight ahead of Rockingham!

Pre-race practice saw [MRc] TimDC and RG^LORENZO setting the pace, with the Master Race Car ace looking comfortable in taking yet another Rally win and taking the champ title with one round to go.

But we know, that's the beauty of Rally: pressure and having only one timed run available can change everything, and that's exactly what happened.

RG^LORENZO and SSM x K@nflict set fast pace right from the prologue, with the italian taking his first stage win 3 tenths ahead of the Sindre Silva Motorsports driver!
TimDC was expected to crush those times, but the MRC driver made mistakes, hitting bales and tyres, gathering a 4 seconds time penalty that putted him on the backfoot ahead of the main, big stage.

PROLOGUE RESULTS

The main stage awaited the drivers: more than 7 minutes of special stage, between tricky chicanes, huge jumps and technical sections in the japanese forest.

Between the favourites, RG^LORENZO set the early pace, with a 7'04''81 of total time, gaterhing 4 seconds penalty along the way.
SSM x K@nflict was not as fast, but managed to keep it clean all through the stage (not an easy task!), jumping on the lead by just 8 tenths!

Pressure was all on [MRc] TimDC: the Master Race Car ace was super fast through all splits and was looking cool to take the lead with just one sector to go.

But then, a late braking, going into the dirt and smashing into the tyres: costly 4 seconds penalty gathered!
Tim flew in the last sector, taking every kind of risk and nearly managed to still get the stage win, but in the end he'll finish P2 behind his title rival Konflict!!

The overall Rally standings saw SSM X K@nflict taking the Rally of Japan by just 5 TENTHS over RG^LORENZO, and 2,5 seconds ahead of [MRc] TimDC.
What a close finish!

4th place overall for dod1slaw who comes back with a P4 after his absence in Fern Bay, while SGR Madjester completed the Top 5!

K@nflict's win opens up the championship battle totally!

With just one rally to go in Rockingham (April 14th), 15 points separates [MRc] TimDC and SSM x K@nflict.
With 30 points available for that rally, everything can happen!!

Pressure will be massive on both drivers, and one mistake in the super technical courses of Rockingham could change everything!

Who will be the first ever Race Green's World Rally Cup Champion and write his name in history?

Also, the battle for P3 in the standings is set to be fierce: RG^Lorenzo, SGR Madjester and ZFRL Thehemuli are separated by a couple of points.
Who will take the last podium spot of the championship?

In the Team's Standings, Race Green Autosports jumps in front of everyone else with just one round to go.
Will the team's trophy go to the Championship Organizers?

Rally Drivers, it's been an hectic season of off-road racing!

And the last chapter of it is set to be the most dramatic yet: fasten your seatbelts and stay tuned for the Rally of Rockingham, coming on Monday, April 14th!
