Server will be password protected 1 hour before qualifying start to keep not knowing crowded server jumpers out of way, pass will be always the same: green

After 145 normal distance races,on 24th january of 2017 RTFR saw it's very first longer version under the name RTFR XL - run with crowd's favourite XFG in (back then) just 2 years old new Westhill National reversed. The race was won by Mikke representing Air Attack team, interestingly he won also 2nd RTFR XL and no more. Now after 8 years and almost 4 months 99 races have been completed and in latest race the overall race distance exceeded 20 thousand kilometers, completing almost 4600 laps.

Since 2019 the WCL team has offered sponsorship, creating yearly championship standings - 4 different drivers have finished the season as standings winners,2 of them twice. Since 2020 we have our own forum section making it easier to check past results as each race has it's own thread and since 2021 races have been streamed live by SimBroadcasts.tv creating additional promotion to the event, boasting attendace by ~70% on average.

A total of 35 differen cars have been used,15 of them just once while FZR have seen already 8 races. The event has visited all 9 LFS environments, however both environments without actual racetracks were visited just once. 56 different track configurations have been used with 2 being run 5 times - Aston North reversed and South City's longest standard config named City Long, while also other direction of these configurations have been selected 3 times.

407 different drivers from 50 different countries have participated through these 99 events, however 36 of them never started and 140 - never been classified as finished by completing at least half of the 75 minutes race. 159 drivers finished in top10 at least once,101 - in top5. There have been 32 different race winners,14 of them being able to win just a single race. 6 racers have won at least 5 races while half of them managed to score even a double figure amount of race wins, all of them representing same team. 27 drivers scored pole position,31 were able to set a fastest lap during a race. 57 drivers have led at least 1 lap,13 of them have led at least 100 laps,2 going past even 500 laps.

In this special 100th RTFR XL race the race distance has been increased to 100 minutes (as always - lapcount calculated to minimum amount to exceed the nominal race time) and to award the drivers for efforts, also points count will be increased by 1/3 - using usual system everyone's points will be calculated like this: scored points*4/3 - rounding up/down using classic method (0.5 and more means rounding up,less than 0.5 means rounding down).

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Probably not penalty-worthy (not that it would help in any way) but I would like to know how much at fault I was:

Event: 100th RTFR XXL
Lap: Lap 1, MPR 1:40, post-underpass
Involved drivers: [MRc] Michal, Wj/ Egorka?
Description: Egorka makes a very opportunistic (senseless to be more precise) attempt to pass Michal into the fast righthander after underpass, only small time lost, but feels like unnecessary/unsportsmanlike move.

Event: 100th RTFR XXL
Lap: Lap 4, MPR 9:15, boothy chicane
Involved drivers: [MRc] Michal, /SRP/ HachiRoku, [MRc] jsk
Description: HachiRoku makes a late dive on Michal, carrying too much speed into the chicane, forcing Michal into the haystacks, thus destroying his suspension and ultimately whole race. Also involved was jsk, who got spun in the chain reaction started by this event.

Michal brakes early on 2-wide situation on approach to turn and is off normal speed, so the pass attempt from Egorka is valid, however the execution is bad - Egorka does not steer properly beside car ahead and hits in on turn approach.

Hachiroku cannot hold the inside line when entering turn with car on outside and pushes it out of track.

This tuesday on the 1st RTFR XXL... Well,it was actually just a bit extended version of usual RTFR XL - just 1/3 longer than normally - and that in community's voted combo. The LFS's own grown XR GTR won the voting by just 3 votes and that with some campaign from certain members, beating the most popular GT3 car. However the track selection was pretty much straight forward - Kyoto's GP Long config with an extra chicane had more than twice as much votes as 2nd most popular track. The longer race did not scare off the racers, even better - the 100th event went into history as the most attended RTFR XL ever with 44 participants, beating 50th and 61st RTFR XL by 1 driver. Unfortunatelly a total of 7 drivers decided not to race, leaving 3 spots on grid free - putting this race with tied 5th most starters.

We can only speculate how the race would be going if some strongest competitors would do more effort during qualifying, but in this situation Gábor was in his leading position practically unchallenged from green lights to chequered and the hungarian scored yet another race win, starting the race from pole position. After 100 races it's easy to calculate winning percentage from all time races count - Gábor's most recent win 16th, making him being successful in 16% of all races, however the percentage is more overwhelming in latest 11 races - 73% (8 from 11 races). Additionally Gábor scored his 18th pole position (20th for Hungary), 17th fastest lap of the race and 26th top5 finish. J.Katila started from 25th position and was even held up in the 1st turn incident (partially caused by his father, who started ahead), but with higher pace and a bit shorter pitstop the finn rallied up to 2nd position in finish, finishing just over 5 seconds behind race winner - 18th top5 finish earned for the 6-time RTFR XL race winner. Isaac started from even lower position - 30th, and also he was held up by same incident, but also improved lots of positions during the race to finish 3rd in his 1st ever started RTFR XL - interestingly his 31st position in qualifying is 1 position worse than the only previous attempt. The fastest driver in race (regarding single best laptime) was Lagooga, who scored his 6th fastest lap of the race (tied 4th most), but also his story is similar (low effort qualifying, held up in 1st turn) which led him to 4th place finish, adding 11th top5 finish to his achievements. R.Kardol did much more effort in qualifying as he put himself on outside of front row, however his race performance wasn't strong enough for higher position than the bottom position of top5, scoring his 54th top5 finish - that makes drivers from 5 different countries in the top5.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Both XRR and KY GP Long with Boothy chicane have been used twice before but not in combination of each other. One of these XRR races and one of the races in KY3B were won by 2nd place finisher of the latest race J.Katila, while the 1st of KY3B races was won by Gábor - and that was his 1st ever RTFR XL race win (46th RTFR XL - BF1@KY3B).

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
XRR's fuel tank was too small for 340km and tyres could not really endure full race, so everyone, who run further than half distance, pitted for both tyre change and refuelling. Ayoub was the latest pitter on lap 35, so probably the need for least amount put him on top of the shortest pitstop chart - 16.41 seconds pitstop. Could have been much higher position if he would not lose connection with less than 2 laps to go, so the maroccan is classified just 23rd.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
With progress of 27 positions, Isaac gained the most positions during the race - 30th to 3rd, which is 2 positions better than his teammate's effort, who started just ahead of him and finished right behind him.

After the enduring 100 minutes of racing, RTFR will return back to it's basics on coming tuesday - just a simple 30min + 1 lap race is coming up, bringing an odd mix - race spec car with road tyres on track type the car never actually saw during it's original days. As always more details will be revealed in official announcement this weekend. In 2 weeks time RTFR server will be handed over to RandomCar and it's round 4 in Westhill, while also next RTFR XL in less than 4 weeks time will be run in Westhill - the fastest LFS car BF1 has been selected to be run in soon to be official LFS configuration, however until it's published, we will have to use open config mode for Westhill International without chicane.
