Ghost Rider intentionally causes multiple accidents
Ghost Rider causes multiple intentional incidents ruining the race for multiple people. He is therefore permanently banned from all future events organised by Zafiralis.
Our apologies to everyone involved in these incidents. Unfortunately our race directors attention was on another potential cause of trouble at the time of the first incident and we thus failed to prevent the following incidents.
The results posted above are confirmed as official
We started our second quarter of 2025 with a classic combo: FZ5 around Fern Bay Gold. It was a competition of who could find the best balance between outright pace and tyre management as the FZ5 is known for making its rear tyres go up in smoke if you are not careful. Despite this, 27 drivers set a lap during qualifying and 23 took the start.
V.Laguckas was the fastest qualifier in his first ARC appearance. He was joined in the front row by another experienced driver but a newcomer to our series, Jorpa. Second row was occupied by two championship contenders: Mouseman and Suforr. In the third row there were Hamster and Dodislaw
There was drama even before the lights turned green: championship leader Suforr forgot to fuel up his car and had to start from the pits. On lap 3 we had a set of intentional wrecks by one driver who took out Jorpa from P2 and Arska from P7. This promoted Dodislaw to P4 and Tbug to P5. No one could match the pace of V.Laguckas who took the win in his ARC debut by a comfortable gap of 13 seconds. The battle for second was a bit closer though: our rodent related duo Hamster and Mouseman battled for the position in multiple occasions, last of them for the duration of final two laps. Hamster won the battle by 0.16s and took the mid step on the podium on his debut, while Mouseman had to settle for third. Tbug traded positions with Dodislaw a few times, but managed to stay ahead in the end to finish fourth while Dodislaw completed the top five.
Next up we have another rallycross event coming in just over a week. Stay tuned to find out more!
