A renamed bf1_ texture file... It looks dire, very dire. There's nothing wrong with a 'sauber' LX car - but it does want a custom skin and not just the BF_ skin renamed to work on the LX, that car looks dreadful.

I remember downloading a file which changed the 3 demo cars. One to a 206 rally car, a DTM car and a classic F1 car.

I also downloaded one which changed them to 3 russian truck things.

This can be done quite easily (spelling?)

I'd do it but when I change something in the main files it always messes LFS up so i won't take the chance.

i know but these were S1 mods.
havent seen those for S2.

Try the FOX under the LX's bonnet. It might work in regards of tyre circumference and wheelbase.
The FZR might fit on the BF1.

switch the names of the .vob files.
it is NOT recommend to do that, and it will NOT improve the handling of any car, in fact for alot combinations it can cause problems.

Interesting to try F1 without downforce. It can do 360 km/h at BL1

Here is a sketch of a mod. XR GTR => NASCAR (XRR skins look quite normally), MRT5 body => BF1 & FO8.

Would someone car to explain how this can be done?
