The're there to give you an idea of the cars and the different handling traits. You can use LFS just as much without completing the training, but it does no harm to complete them. Even if just to say you have.
Edit- Got my their, there and the're's mixed up. Got it right now.
Do you excuse everything with LfS not being final yet?
It's not like there will be significant changes to the training... And it's not like they have a point because they don't unlock anything but the next lessons...
bbman, I am pretty sure at some point the Training lessons will be a crucial part to complete when starting out for the first time in LFS. At the moment, it is there to test. Just as there is no more credits system, and the fact that all the cars are unlocked and ready to use. If the training system doesn't change much for final, than it would be really lacking... and I doubt Scawen will want that part to be ignored.
Problem is, now there are way too many lessons, and some are impossible with keyboard, unless you are uber
SO I guess it will rather distract people from LFS, specially those "oldschool" sim racers that come from another sim and think they know everything already
Thanks to this thread I just re did all of the lessons. I do have to say, some of them are a hell of alot of fun. 90 Lessons, and not one of them in the steat of the BF1, I think that needs to get fixed.
