Hi All,

Just finished a very short LFS movie which was simply to help me get to learn the camera controls a bit and also a first dip into Sony Vegas since Adobe Premiere will no longer run on my pc illepall

It was encoded into 720p HD Widescreen so it's been squished a bit to a 15mb WMV and YouTube will no doubt butcher it even more but you'll get a rough idea.

It's a bit over stylised if you ask me but I just wanted to try some of the filters and effects, and I know there's a slight pause in on of the camera changes too hehe whoops. (Not selling it well am I??)

Oh and the music is far from original with LFS movies but it's only a test.

Pretty good for a first effort. Was it Youtube that squashed it, or is it always squashed? You need to use an aspect ratio of 1.0 (square pixels) for capturing.

Oh, and you nicked one of the songs on my 'use for LFS movies' list damn you!!!

It was deffo YouTube, I have a nice 300mb HD AVI of it in Widescreen, so when converting to WMV it got crunched a little to fit into a more 4:3 shape.

Heheh I stole the idea of the track from the UF1 Club Race 5 video

Some good ideas there. Watch poly clipping and try to strive for something original in your videos- there's enough 'just racing' clones these days.

at 0:46 the frame is frozen and then starts to move. not a serious glitch, but really disturbs the eye...
also the TV special effect all the way doesnt cut it. Hope to see more from you, and see how you improve

lol reminds me of Battlefield with the music, but as far as the video goes, some of those cameras shouldn't have moved, ei the one above the FOX during the start of the race, that shouldn't have budged, and the one right after it; also along with that 2nd one i just talked about, always watch one car, dont point at one car then as it passes go to the next, going back and forth.. well.. its not exactly done lol
