I have no reason to use the DivX bundle probably (or whatever this 'Create' package is), because I usually just get my codecs elsewhere. Nor do I use the DivX player or anything...
Hmm havn't been sent an email yet (registered about 2 hours ago). Seems like its still running though.
edit: So is this working for everyone? Are you recieving the emails staright away? I still havn't been sent one and I've tried my 3 email address. HMM.
Recieved my serial during the night. Yet to test how good the bundle is, although it should be helpful as i need to convert movies from a digital video recorder to divx for editing.
Uh. i just don't get into movies and such enough to fool with codecs and such,
but I do watch movies over the internet more and more. I see internet television
becoming more and more mainstream in the near future, even to the point of
replacing sattelite/cable TV eventually. What i don't understand
is why there are SO MANY codes required to play all these movies out there. I mean, I go rent a movie and play it and hundreds of others on the same DVD player without having to D/load things to make all the movies work.
I realize that this is still relatively new, but c'mon with VCRs, there was only beta and vhs to start. Should there really be 50 zillion codecs for these movies?
It's all little, very old movies and in quick time only, but they are public domain and I think you can edit them all you want, and some are kinda cool to watch too.
