Quote from birder :I see some of the LFS Demo driver are doing Trackdays illepall

That's hot hatch day, I ought to make a day out of that.

Thanks for the clip mate. I'll be driving in a Formula Seater car on that track in no less than 2 weeks. Gives me a good view of how the corners are taken, and how fast its done in

Doesn't suprise me how cocky they are in taking the corners and overtaking.

Ho-ly sheeet.

That is some spectaculary stupid driving. Only two things save it: The accent we all enjoyed in Trainspotting, and the Clubman (LX4) crash at 3:30 - shows how realistic LFS is, because it's easy to do in-game.

I always thought I'd go to a track day to get away from idiots in other cars... illepall
Lol, I thought they had rules on track days
Cant believe they let these people on track ,mental.

Driven at few track days at knockhill , but never a hot hatch day ....and never will if that is the standard of driving.Absolutely no respect for other cars or drivers.

Love the placement of cones to stop them undertaking during braking.

This is how a drivers club affiliated with the RAC Motor Sport Association track day runs at Knockhill

notice the slower cars indicating and pulling over to the inside to be passed safely , not under braking into the hairpin !

hehe

Some pretty dodgy attitudes, some craptacular driving. I reckon seasoned sim-racers have a real edge when it comes to track days/racing; a much better idea what the car's gonna do when pushed hard or too far.

That's some pretty bad driving with some a**h*lish attitude. Shouldn't they realize at one point that if they make the same mistake in the same corner 5 times over, that they should take a different line !? It also looks like some drivers were forced to give up position simply due to some banzai moves - very typical of what you see on Demo servers. Only thing stopping them from totaling the car seemed to be the slow speed the car was capable in the drivers hands...
Hehe, idiots on track, part I

They have no idea what to do or what they are doing, just no respect to anyone else illepall

There must be petition to not let chavs on track, yes, somewhere, please tell me where it is and I sign it! And make all friends to sign it. Hell, I'll make my grandmother to sign it as well
LoL that yellow LX must have been GC
Who the f**k do these people think they are.

They shouldnt be let anywhere near a track, they obviously have no idea what they're doing, was quite funny to see most people own them though.

Tbh thought that 'trackday' looks like utter carnage, might as well be a destruction derby.

The way I see it, hopefully they kill themselves before they kill anyone else.
ah ah lol, nice vid! illepall
What a bunch of retards. The similarities to demo driving habits are astounding.

The scene changes were hilarious, though. The first few times I saw that rotating image, for a split second I thought they were rammed from behind. You know, when you're used to LFS where a crash sends you to the moon, the motion didn't seem too far off
Better on the track then on the road I say.

Look, it looks like fun, and thats exactly what those events are ment too be. Let them have there fun...
Scary and stupid stuff.
Did they have a Microsoft Sidewinder steering wheel bolted on to the column or what?

dont say anything against microsoft sidewinder FF!I love my wheel
I agree, mine has served me well, but it is soon to be replaced with a G25
Quote from S0ul :dont say anything against microsoft sidewinder FF!I love my wheel

Hey, my wheel is even crappier (an old Thrustmaster with no FF ). Theirs looked a bit like a Sidewinder is all.

What I know, the track days are just that. Track days, not race days. At least all the tracks days I know have a rule that disallows racing with other cars. The idea is to test your limits against yourself, not against others
Exactly hyper , these are road going cars (have to be MOT'd and taxed and road legal) , they have no additional safety features , no roll cage , fuel cut off , fire suppressants etc .You have to wear a helmet ,oh and wear long sleeves ! No timing is allowed and no racing is allowed , supposedly

Why the roll cages, fuel cuts and fire suppressants are not allowed? One thing that I can think of is that one need to have tanks for "breathing lines"*, so that any overfilled tank won't leak its liquids on the road.. but is this on track days too, or just drag strips?

the safey systems are allowed , just not required , therefore no racing incase of accident
